1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work on a Saturday

Purple Dog Ltd are now running the 1 Day Emergency First Aid at Work courses on a Saturday as well as during the week.  https://purpledogltd.co.uk/courses/

These courses are running at our training room in Deighton at Office 14,  Ingfield Enterprise Centre,
Cherry Nook Road, Deighton, Huddersfield, HD2 1JD from 9.00 AM-16.30 PM.

The course is for those working in low risk environments and if you are unsure what your workplace classes as, please feel free to use our first aid needs calculator found on the home page (at no extra cost to you)

The subjects covered on the day long course are

Recognition and treatment of:

• Health & Safety and use of equipment
• Dealing with an emergency
• CPR on an adult, child and baby
• Unconscious casualty
• Seizures
• Choking
• Shock
• Wounds, bleeding and the blood loss theory
• Minor injuries
• Being able to use an AED machine (Defibrillator)

Costs per place is £72.50 +VAT with free WiFi, tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day.

All tutors have done the job they are teaching you are about, so they can bring learning to life with real life experiences and they are able to answer any question you ask them in relation to first aid.
